After a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, Bob went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 18, 2018.
Bob lived a good life of 88 years, leaving his wife, Annajean; son, Michael; daughter in law, Carol.
Bob's eulogy statement "My life has changed, not ended; my new life in Christ has just began!"
A celebration of Life was held Sunday, June 10th, 2-4 at Arden Presbyterian Church in the Fellowship Room.

Douglas F Davidson, 92, of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at the Laurels of Hendersonville.
A celebration of life service will be held at Hendersonville Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 21st at 2pm.
Hendersonville Presbyterian Church is located at 699 N Grove Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Donations may be made to American Heart Association.
Douglas was born October 9th, 1925 in Airdrie, Scotland to Janet and Francis Davidson.
He enlisted in Royal Navy at 16 years old in 1942 and served in World War II. He was discharged in 1947.
He immigrated to Canada and married Shirley White in 1949.
His career was with General Motors and retired as Executive Director of US Operations for Motors Insurance Corporation.
During his retirement, he enjoyed sailing with his current wife, Beverly, married in 1987.
Douglas is survived by his two children, Douglas S. Davidson and Victoria J. Kiely and husband Douglas E. Kiely, wife Beverly, 6 grandchildren, Jenna, Nicholas, Douglas E. Jr., Douglas J, Fawn, Amber and two great grandchildren, Andrew and Olivia, two sisters Jean and Muriel of Scotland, and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by wife Shirley, 1985, parents, Janet and Francis, two sons- Daniel and John, and one sister Dorothy.

Due to lack of interest the June 21st luncheon at the Dixie Diner on US 64 in Laurel Park has been canceled.
The remaining scheduled 2018 luncheon will be in December 2018.

Dues for 2018 is reduced to $5.00.
